Lori Anne Harris, GBA, Agent/Broker and Principal

Lori Anne has over 35 years of experience in the employee benefits field. Lori Anne is a licensed accident/life and health agent and property/casualty broker. She earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration at St. Bonaventure University and has served as the chairman of the Capital Region Chamber of Commerce Business referral Group #1. She is also an associate member of the Small Business Strategic Alliance (SBSA) and an active member of the National Association of Healthcare Underwriters (NAHU) and WPO- Women’s President Organization, a national women-led affiliation of women entrepreneurs. She is also a Group Benefit Associate (GBA), which is a joint program of the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. She is also pursuing her CEBS designation; an employee benefits certification. Lori Anne serves on the board of the Ellis Hospital Foundation and Girls on the Run of the Capital Region. Lori Anne enjoys exercising, golf and spending time with her family in Lake George.

Michele Seddon, Agent/Broker and Principal

Michele’s background in human resources for a large insurance company laid the groundwork for her career in employee benefits insurance. She’s earned her Life, Accident and Health Agent license and her broker’s license. At HMS, Michele helps clients navigate the changing health insurance and employee benefits landscapes. She is a member of the Twin Bridges Rotary, which serves the Clifton Park and Halfmoon communities. Michele earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the State University of New York at Cortland. She spends her free time golfing, skiing, walking, and enjoying time with friends and family.

William Mather, Jr., Agent/Broker and Principal

After graduating from St. Bonaventure University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration, William began his career in the insurance industry, specializing in claims and risk management. As an HMS principal, he specializes and is licensed in property and casualty insurance. He also has an Associate in Risk Management designation. Bill is active in the Malta and Ballston Spa communities, where he coaches his sons’ sports teams. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and cheering for his beloved Red Sox.

Stephen Mather, Agent/Broker and Principal

Stephen has over 20 years of insurance experience. He graduated from St. Bonaventure University with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and holds licenses for property, casualty and life insurance. He is also a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). In his spare time, Stephen is actively involved in the Clifton Park community, where he coaches his children in basketball. He is an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, and he enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with his family.

William J. Mather, Sr., CLU, Agent/Broker and Principal

Bill has more than 50 years of experience in the insurance industry. At HMS, Bill is the CFO as well as an expert in personal insurance and employee benefits. He is also active in the Capital Region community. He serves on the board of the Visiting Nurses Association of Schenectady, is vice president of the Rotterdam Sunrise Rotary, is a board member of the Schenectady Chamber Foundation and is treasurer of SCORE. Bill graduated from Union College and received his Chartered Life Underwriters designation from the American College of Life Underwriters. When he’s not working, Bill enjoys golfing, boating, and spending time with his family at Lake George.
